Real World Project^TM

The "Real World Project^TM", simulated life skills activity that has been customized and aligned with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJCCCS). The activity allows participants to experience the "Real World^TM" for themselves by performing the basic functions of an adult within their simulated community.

These functions include:

Choosing a career
Managing a monthly paycheck
Securing housing
Selecting a mode of transportation
Purchasing groceries and other necessities
Interfacing with Social Service organizations

The purpose of the Real World Project^TM is to positively introduce and expose its participants to these important concepts.
